"ISAÍAS
GARRIDO"
Conocido
como puente “viejo” fue inaugurado el 28 de julio de 1937 y
construido por la misma empresa que hizo la torre EFFIEL de París. Era
presidente del Perú don Oscar R. Benavides
Parte
de la estructura metálica, los dos cuerpos del lado izquierdo, se la
“llevó” el río en una de sus espectaculares crecidas siendo
reconstruido en 1941 por el gobierno de don Manuel Prado con un solo
cuerpo en forma ovalada, como hoy luce. Es una obra firme y espectacular
de ingeniería civil, por
su construcción y estética acorde al imponente paisaje del valle.
Por
la altura del puente, es ideal para la práctica de “puenting”,
donde el deportista, atado a una cuerda se lanza desde la parte más
alta quedando suspendido casi “besando” el dulce sabor de las aguas
del Chira. Sin embargo, nuestros jóvenes hacen la misma pirueta lanzándose
desde la misma distancia y en perfectos “clavados”, sin ataduras y
libres como el viento, se zambullen en el agua, ante los aplausos y
admiración de los espectadores que cada fin de semana se dan cita en el
lugar para disfrutar los encantos de la naturaleza.

Es geht von der metallischen Struktur, die zwei Körper der linken Seite, Sie das “es nahm” der Fluß in gewachsen ein von seinen spektakulären, der wieder in 1941 von der Regierung von Geschenk Manuel Weideland mit einem einzelnen Körper in ovaler Form aufgebaut wird, als heute scheint es. Es ist eine feste und spektakuläre Arbeit von Hoch- und Tiefbauingenieur, für ihre Konstruktion und in Zustimmung-Ästhetik zur imposanten Landschaft des Tales.
Für die Höhe der Brücke ist es für die Übung von ideal “nagelte von der Brücke”, wo der Sportler, bündeln Sie fast zu einem Seil, hetzt vom höchsten Teil, der aufgehängt wird, “das Küssen” der liebe Geschmack von den Wassern des Chira Flusses.
